02 Liquid Ring Compressor API 681 (2 x100%)
in accordance with the attached specifications: Data sheet, PID.
(flow rate 850 lb/h, discharge pressure 25 psig)
Final destination : Saudi Arabia
Quotation is required as per attached RFQ for the liquid ring compressors and or for the whole system consisting of the compressors, the separator, the service liquid cooler.
Break down is required with quotation of bare compressor(s).
Compressor Vendor is required to fill the attached compressor data sheet with the data required.
Compressor vendor should provide, with their offer, the design and sizing and the quantitative definition of the duty of each equipment as per P&ID, i.e. the compressors, the down-stream gas-liquid separator, the recycled liquid cooler and the associated process circuits.
Compressor vendor design shall take into account both the feed stream to the compressors and the gas stream injected on the compressor's discharge line and compressor discharge pressure value definition .
The two cases of composition and flow rate of feed gas in the RFQ and the two cases of composition of injected gas are to be considered for design.
Also, the definition of flow rate and conditions (P,T, liquid fraction) of each of the involved streams in/out each equipment are required as well as the required quantity and conditions of the service liquid to be supplied to each compressor.

I am looking for a vacuum pump with the following characteristics:
- ATEX zone 2, or zone 1 preferably
- 3 to 20 m3/hr at atmospheric pressure depending on the application
- High reliability and low / simple maintenance
- Regulated input pressure, adjustable anywhere in the range between 150 and 300 mbar (or wider range)
- The gas to be evacuated is principally methane, but it also could contain ethane, CO2, Nitrogen, some H2S, and water vapor.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION
NineSigma, representing a Global Consumer Products Company, invites proposals for a desktop vacuum pump and control unit that are both cost-effective and quiet.
Proposals that adapt existing technologies from military, medical, printing, automotive or other positive pressure/vacuum pump applications are highly desirable.
The successful technology will use either one or two pumps/unit to achieve the following functional specifications:
- Have cycle frequency higher than 1.7Hz (atmospheric to max. vacuum and back to atmospheric)
- Evacuate 70ml air/cycle/pump
- Achieve a max. vacuum of 300 mmHG
- Maintain maximum vacuum for 0.5 secs
- Exhibit no loud or harsh sounds (Max. noise: 52dBA)
- Be durable (more than 1100 hrs of repeated cycles)
- Include rechargable batteries capable of providing >3 hrs of vacuum pump use
- Include 110/240V transformer capable of recharging batteries in 1- 3 hrs.
- Able to achieve functional specifications at 0 - 40°C
- Able to be used as a regulated medical device
Physical Specifications:
- Complete unit must include motor, vacuum pump, electronic controls and software
- Electronic controls must include switches to control power on/off, charging, frequency/mode selection & vacuum level
- Complete unit must have dimensions that are compatable with a desktop appliance (approx. 30x15x15cm)
- Complete unit must be less than 0.5 Kg
Intellectual Property:
The ideal response will include patented technology available for licensing.
Technologies meeting most but not all of these criteria will be considered.
BACKGROUND
A number of consumer products contain electric pumps. Unfortunately, the pumps used in most of these products are noisy, irritating and unrealiable. Products containing electric vacuum pumps are especially offensive.
The goal of this request is to find a consumer vacuum pump system that is compact, quiet, reliable and pleasant to use.
