Italvacuum vacuum pumps comply to the following Directives requirements:
- DIRECTIVE MACHINE 98/37/CE
- DIRECTIVE ELECTRO - MAGNETICAL CONSISTENCY 89/336/CE
- DIRECTIVE ATEX 94/9/CE.

In standard version SAURUS939 vacuum pump is marked as CE Ex II 2 G T4 and is suitable in all areas classified as Zone 1 - Gas and temperature class T4 (135°C)

In special version the pump is suitable for Zone 0 INTERNAL - GAS, ZONE 1 EXTERNAL - GAS with three different classes of temperature T4 (135°C)/ T150°C / T3 (200°C), depending on operation conditions.

Saurus939 vacuum pumps also guarantee complete separation between process side and mechanical side, so ensuring absence of contamination from the lubricating oil and absolute purity of the final product, as certified by a report of Politecnico di Torino (Department of Material Science and Chemical Engineering).
